Chapter 7
The unpleasant truth ~ Part 1
A peremptory knock on the next Harry tore Morning from a deep sleep. He started up, stung by a tarantula and needed a moment to orient himself.
"Jaa ... same," he reassured his impatient visitors at the door. His room looked messy. Everywhere were burned candles on the table was the cold tea.
Sometime in the night he woke up in a chair, because it all hurt and had to realize with horror that Hermione still asleep in the second chair, several candles, a Wachssee had formed on the table and they been really reckless were. He could not know that all rooms were occupied at Hogwarts with a spell that banished such or similar dangers, without the mitbekam someone.
In the night he was but was too tired to take care of it. With one sweep of his wand he had extinguished the candles, Hermione brought by a spell-Levitas in her own bed and hid himself under the covers, just to be asleep a moment later, but now he had a problem, because again there was a knock at the door.
Harry jumped out of bed and grabbed his wand. He quickly drove out everything with a magic in the closet, pushed it against Hermione's door and ran his hand through his tousled hair, before he rushed to the door and opened it nervously.
To Harry's absolute horror what Albus Dumbledore himself, who he wanted a pay visit and if it had so far taken no concern about this persistence, they did it now. In fact Harry had the feeling to suddenly be on the verge of panic. The appearance of the head teacher, here, was in his room, impossible mean something good.
Dumbledore smiled gently in the face of Harry's apparent concern.
"Good morning, Harry! Sorry to trouble you, but there is something I would like to discuss with you. May I come in? "
a moment Harry stood paralyzed in the door before he caught himself and went out of their way.
"Certainly, well ... of course! Gu ... good morning, "stammered he is still completely beside him, while Albus Dumbledore entered. "Se ... You sit down!"
"Thanks, Harry!" The headmaster took place in the chair, had slept in the night before Hermione. Harry followed his example and sat nervously on the edge of the second chair
"What ... what is there, Professor?" He asked uneasily. Professor Dumbledore's face was too serious and Harry worried more and more. He was fairly certain that he would not like what Dumbledore him had to say.
Dumbledore took a deep breath. He did not like what he had to open up Harry and he could see the boy that he already knew.
It was a shock for all four professors have been when it became clear that Professor Snape and Professor O'Donnell's trip had nothing changed in the past. No one could explain why Harry was still always a girl.
The only what they can really bring in experience had was the fact that Draco Malfoy had made no mistake on that day. The potion was absolutely correct. Dumbledore himself had been present when Professor Snape had tested it. Facilitating Potions teacher was not to be overlooked for it. His godson was out of this story. Harry was all alone the stupid one and till now they had no idea what had really happened.
But that was totally irrelevant at the moment. It was important now, to tell the boy the truth and rarely did Professor Dumbledore with a bit of it rather difficult.
"I will not beat about the bush, Harry! But ... there are circumstances occurred, I would rather explain to you personally! ... How can you imagine, it's about your condition, "an exception this time formed an icy knot in Harry's stomach, where else, if he was nervous, almost always spread heat. "Professor Snape and Professor O'Donnel tonight have made a risky experiment, this accident has made you a girl to prevent. Unfortunately, you have failed without any doubt. Order can be exact at the moment no one explained, what happened in this lesson. "
" How ... what ... what do you mean? "Harry was fairly sure that he understood exactly what Dumbledore wanted him to say, but all in him refused to accept what it meant.
Dumbledore sighed resignedly. "It means that we do not know what happened. From what is obviously apart. "
" But the drink ... what ... I ... it ... "
"It is of course no doubt that the drink is brewed from Mister Malfoy in connection with your transformation, but ... Mister Malfoy did nothing wrong, Harry. The potion was exactly as he had to. There was no mistake. "
" What ...? Staring Harry to Dumbledore, as he doubted the intelligence of the school principal. What was beyond it? If it was not an accident, why was he a girl? He would never believe that Malfoy had nothing to do with this thing, ever.
The anger on the blond cooked immediately back up to him, but he pulled himself together. He had to know what had happened. "What have you tried?" He asked flatly and Professor Dumbledore gave him willing to tell.
"What is a time-turner, I must tell you not sure, right?" Harry shook his head. He knew what was a time-turner. Hermione and he were in their third year used to Sirius and Buckbeak to rescue. "Good! The idea came from Professor O'Donnel. There is always a risk in the past travel, but since we are now looking in vain for weeks for evidence of what happened, I have obtained the approval of the Ministry for this very special journey.
"Professor Snape has the potion that you have brewed that day personally prepared and tested before it fell to Professor O'Donnel on this date! You have the potion that you have brewed and Draco exchanged for the other party to the incident to avoid completely, but unfortunately you're still a girl, Harry ... although you get a proper drink! "
Harry stared into the void. Dumbledore statement shocked him deeply, for it meant that there was nothing that could contradict what he. It meant that there was nothing to refute. What was always gone wrong, it was up to him. It was the only one who had been transformed from an absolutely correct potion.
Snape had Harry may still make bad intentions, but not Professor O'Donnel. She had never left a doubt in mind that it was on its side. That was certainly the reason that she had gone with Snape.
"I do not know yet what it all meant Harry" said Dumbledore away now, "... but what I can promise you, I will do everything in my power to this thing back in order bring. "
A weak nod was the only answer that Dumbledore was. There was the moment unfortunately nothing that could shock even Harry. His thoughts had been suspended from the fact that he apparently only he could be himself the reason for this transformation.
It was a girl and no knew why. And the reason why he was there too there was no one left, he put the blame for it. Harry was overwhelmed at the moment completely.
"We will find a solution, certainly Harry ..." Dumbledore tried to make courage Harry, but Harry did not believe him. If they did not even know what had happened, how to hell should they find a solution?
"Sure ..." he muttered, however, duty bound to assure the principal that he believed him. He felt is stunned and wanted nothing more than to be left alone.
Dumbledore went on.
"I have at the moment, unfortunately, still not a viable explanation for your transformation! We had placed all hopes on this experiment ... Professor Snape from now will work closely with Professor McGonagall and Professor O'Donnell has also pledged their support. All material that we will have to alchemical transformations indexed seen new and I am sure we will soon find a solution ... even if it probably will take some time, Harry! "
Harry nodded almost automatically. He had no interest in Professor Dumbledore's explanations. All that the headmaster could say now was that he did not know what had happened and that was more than Harry could tolerate at the moment. This was the headmaster in his speech but had not and the only chance that Harry was nodding again and again to the appropriate authorities or to murmur in agreement.
After a few more phrases and the well-meaning advice in the future not to miss the breakfast, Dumbledore stood up to say goodbye. In However, the door he turned around again, looking seriously at Harry.
"I know you have the feeling of betrayal by all the world, Harry. But we will not let you down. We will find a solution. was you are not alone in this story. "
As the door closed behind the headmaster, Harry knew that he had not right.
He was alone in this story. No one had any idea how he felt.
Let's see how it goes. ;)
