fully booked, otherwise we would have stayed one night. I remember the monks who also stayed in the restaurant. :-)
So I visited the website of the Basic Law and thus was pleasantly surprised when I saw the open spots! Of course, I immediately wrote an application, but still had to wait for confirmation of the SHL and the subsequent filing. Get emailed and even called me to the personnel managers in order to make an appointment for a VG. So yesterday I drove for 2.5 hours of Brienz, at the station I was picked.
first I was in the cool Sahl take place before a roaring log fire on the velvet chair and wait briefly. I was shown the rooms of the Giessbach and I spoke with three different people. It was striking that all, including all artisans with a radiant face, running around and seemed motivated. All they were so likeable! In the end I had a conversation with the recruiters, who was also super nice. We laughed a lot and talked about everything important. On Monday I will know if I will soon be part of the (closed) Giessbach family or not.
I would stay for 6 months in Brienz in the staff house of Giessbach. I would get the opportunity to know all facets of the hospitality industry in the Grand Hotel ★ ★ ★ ★ Giessbach learn. It would
like a dream come true :-) On the way home I was not ready. So I took the Golden Pass to Lucerne, unaware that this would take a travel time of 1.5 hours to complete ... During the long trip I had at least Genung time to devote myself to my Japanese book ;-)
further-education there. So I was looking for open vacancies and looked at first step on the page of the Grandhotel Giessbach. I was there in my Childhood with my parents and my brother for walking and absurbing the beautiful atmosphere there. My mother told me yesterday, that I was very excited and didn't want going home again ;-)
It took about 2,5 hours getting to the hotel by train. I was picked up by the hotel stuff at the station in Brienz. We went to the hotel by car. I had to take place in front of a camin-fire in a red victorian chair. I was guided through the whole hotel and had the chance to talk with 3 people. All people there were very handsome and motivatied! At least I had a conversation with the human-ressourcer. She was also very nice! We were laughing a lot and had a good connection to each other. On monday I'll know if I'll
have the chance to become a member of the (closed) Giessbach-Family. :-)
I would live in Brienz in the personal-house for 6 month. I'd get the chance to having view into the hotel-industry in the ★★★★ Grandhotel Giessbach. It would be like a dream became true :-)
Sadly I wasnt prepared for the way home. I took the GoldenPass train with direction Luzern, not knowing that this way takes about 1,5 hours till arriving in Luzern. During the long journey I had enough time for studying Japanese :-)
